I checked the battery, no loose connections. Also checked the voltage output, steady 13.5 volts (normal for a 12 volt system) with no flutuations at different engine RPM. Voltage does drop slightly (to 12 volts) when engine isn't running and all lights are on but that is also normal. The burned out fuse I replaced didn't look like original equipment so the previous owner may have had a similar problem. It's a 25 amp fuse and I don't know if that's the original size or not, I think the original was supposed to be a 20. If so, that would also indicate an ongoing problem.
If this continues I'll post it in this forum. Also if I figure out what's causing the fuse to go, I'll let everyone know.
